Time doesn't skip around us. We are traveling through it. That’s why we can see time’s wrath–wrinkles, long hair, height–not just that, but teenage rebellion, lost imaginary friends, long work days, outgrowing relationships, and growing silence. It all reflects how many unique moments we travel to. We carry ourselves to places that don’t know our history yet, so we can write ourselves in the present time in order to walk forward the next day. Every memory is a portal, every regret a return, and every hope a leap into the future already being made with our own bare hands. Sure, we can’t teleport through a machine, but we are knocking at time’s gates every day. People say time travel is fake, but we are the forgotten time travelers.
